What Sets Tracy Apart
Bellevue School District is facing some of its toughest financial challenges in years — and we need steady, qualified leadership to guide us through.
Tracy brings:
-
decades of professional accounting experience
-
a background in budget work for several Bellevue-based nonprofits, including as the current Treasurer of Bellevue PTSA Council.

Tracy is a BSD parent, BSD alumna, and long-serving Bellevue-based youth education advocate and PTSA volunteer. She understands the numbers and cares deeply for the people they impact. She’s running for the Bellevue School Board to ensure smart, transparent decisions are made that put students first — and make every dollar count.

Tracy's Vision
for Bellevue Schools
Issue Spotlight: Advanced Learning (AL)
Tracy is a proponent of the AL program. Her daughter is in the AL/IB program. She is in favor of looking at all major programs and working to make each program more efficient. The AL program attracts huge numbers of people to our district. It is our high-level of academic excellence that has made Bellevue School District the top district in the state.
Academic Excellence and Closing Learning Gaps
While BSD attracts families due to its academic excellence, not all students experience it equally. We must meet students where they are and provide targeted support, including early literacy, high impact tutoring, expanded Advanced Learning opportunities and community engagement for support services. By putting these strategies into action, we can build a school environment where every student feels supported and has the chance to thrive and reach their full potential.
Rebuild Trust through Financial Oversight
To ensure every student in BSD has access to opportunity, support, and success, we must make strategic choices with our limited resources. Effective financial oversight is essential to safeguard our diverse and high-quality programming. Tracy’s multi-decade career in accounting equips her with the expertise to provide this oversight, ensuring that every dollar is spent wisely to benefit our students.
Expand Both College and Career Pathways
Our students should graduate ready for the real world. For some, that means college; for others, technical training or entering the workforce. Growing programs like dual credit, STEAM, world languages, and Career and Technical Education (CTE), gives students multiple pathways to success.
Recruit and Retain
Outstanding, Diverse Educators
To reach all our goals, we need to successfully attract and retain top-tier educators who can meet the needs of all students. Since our student body is incredibly diverse, our teaching staff should reflect and embrace that diversity. It is important for students to see themselves reflected in their classroom and community, ensuring students feel a sense of belonging.
